Mother forces son to kill pet

    MERIWETHER COUNTY, Ga. -- A Georgia mother is accused of forcing her 12-year-old son to kill his pet hamster because of a bad report card.

    It happened last Thursday at the family’s home, said Meriwether County Sheriff Steve Witlock.

    Investigators said Lynn Geter made her son use a hammer to kill the hamster.

    Geter was arrested Friday following an interview with investigators.

    She is charged with battery, cruelty to children and cruelty to animals.

    Investigators said Geter also violated probation and remains in jail.

    Can you people believe this? This is absolutely insane, sick, and wrong. As a kid I thought my punishments were rough, but DAMN. Forcing your son to kill his own pet hamster? That's fucking insane. That child must be traumatized, or at the very least going to have a tough future ahead of him. What are you thoughts on this guys? >.<

      That's just so freaking sick and cruel. For a 12 year old losing a pet alone is bad not to mention having to kill one with a freaking hammer... Someone should hit that bitch with a hammer few times..

      When i was little, my dad crushed my favorite toy car after i ruined a sponge in the bathroom. (i enjoyed chewing on them).
      And my mom took another sponge and dipped it in soap and made me force to eat it.

      I stopped eating sponges since.
