Thread: Probably a small problem for people out there, but kinda big for me.

Has anyone been having disappearing songs from your iTunes library? I had around 2000+ songs like last month, and when I looked at it, I noticed I have only 900+ on my desktop.

hmm...it might be a setting in itunes...
what library setting do u use? do u have the checkbox checked to copy music to ur itunes folder in: preferences - advanced - copy files to itunes folder when adding to library?
I think if u don't and move the music files u have added, itunes can't handle that (and maybe it has some kind of clean bad shortcuts or links in that case)
I'm not hundred percent sure though.

I know what u mean...was like that at first also since my internal HD only has 80GB to begin with...
but ever since I got burned I just let iTunes create its library and backup my music on my external drive (I know kind of a hassle but well...)
